Annapolis Community Boating is a not for profit organization which is focused on providing free or subsidized boating education and access for the residents of Anne Arundel County. The board of directors has been created from members of the community who each bring an expertise to the management structure. Annapolis Community Boating also works with other non-profit organizations which are structured to provide a specific community boating niche.
Annapolis Community Boating has a small boat facility to call home at Back Creek Nature Park. In the prior two years ACB knitted the boating resources in the area to provide water access. This will continue in the 2011 season with our fleet of mobile boats. These two models will provide expanded boating programs for residents of Anne Arundel County.
Group lessons, free sail sessions, summer camps, family outings, lecture series and presentations are some of the areas of interest for Annapolis Community Boating. If any of these areas of interest are something you would like to explore, please give us a call to discuss the details.
